It is hard to believe but the Fall 2009 Rural Institute is behind us. As though it does not seem possible but each one keeps getting better. With officers from 36 agencies in attendance, presentations included topics such Less Lethal Technologies, Low Cost Aviation Technology, Taking advantage of Asset Forfeitures to offset Declining Budgets and Voice Response Translation technology. Many others too numerous to cover here discussed. Again the networking opportunities were fantastic and several participants left with a wealth of resource information.

Quotes from the Class of Oct. 2009
"One of the best classes I have attended in 21 years in law enforcement."
"It is good to know I am not alone and that my problems are not unique."
"The networking is great and the staff from RULETC understands the needs of the small agencies."
